Acts 1:9

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Acts 9:31

And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, they were multiplied.

MICRO
1st -3rd Space Churches

We live our lives in three spaces: home (first space), work (second space), and interests/hobbies (third space). Third spaces are gatherings around interests. We use words like ‘teams’, ‘leagues’, ‘clubs’, and ‘associations’ to describe this space. People are most comfortable in third space and natural connections happen between followers of Christ and the unchurched. Impact Multiplied has started third space groups and churches among cowboys, bikers, farm and family, sports, and more. We also have emerging leaders training to launch house church networks (first space).

MACRO
Acts 1:8

Macro Churches are more conventional church expressions. They are new church plants and revitalizations focused on developing deployed disciples. These congregations are beachheads that manage Kingdom resources well and release resources for Kingdom impact. They are strategic expressions of Acts 1:8, starting churches locally, nationally, and globally.

MULTIPLY
(Multiplier’s Institute)

Is intentional training to develop and deploy leaders to start new churches.

This is an intentional leadership pipeline equipping those called to launch new micro and macro churches. These emerging leaders participate in our three essential discipleship experiences and receive training in five core competencies:
1. Multiplying Disciples and Churches(apostolic)
2. Aligning with God’s Word and Holy Spirit(prophetic)
3. Sharing Christ Effectively(evangelistic)
4. Caring for Souls(shepherding)
5. Teaching for Transformation(teaching)

Impact X Core Beliefs:

1. God and His Word are trustworthy.

We believe in the trustworthiness of God and His word. Our trust in God’s Word is based on the presupposition that there is a God, and that this God has taken steps to reveal himself to us. We believe the Bible is God’s revelation to man. As such, the Scripture is our final authority for what we believe and practice. The Bible itself is the best evidence for what it claims to be. The Bible is “alive”. Because the words are the breath of God (2 Timothy 3:16), the Bible is useful for teaching (“this is the right path”), rebuking (“you are on the wrong path”), correcting (“this is the way back to the path”), and training (“this is how you stay on the path”).

2. Christ is Savior and King

When we say Christ is our Savior, we mean He is the only source of to forgive human beings and restore our relationship with God (1 Peter 3:18). When we say Christ the King, we’re saying that He alone is worthy to be on the throne of our hearts (Philippians 2:10-11). Christ is not just a way, but the only way by which a person may receive eternal life in heaven with God. Our belief that Christ is Savior and King follows from our belief in the trustworthiness of God and His word. The Bible teaches that Jesus is the only way to eternal life (Acts 4:12, John 14:1-6).

3. There is hope for the future and forgiveness for the past

Our God is a God of grace. His heart is toward the lost (Luke 15). Jesus came and died for us, not because we were deserving of His love and forgiveness, but because we were absolutely not. God loves us in spite of who we are, not because of who we are. We don’t view failures as final. We are a ministry of recovery. We believe that the ruined can be redeemed, recovered, recruited, renewed and reproducing.

4. The Church

The church is a place of redemption. The church does not save you. Only the gospel saves you, but the church plays a vital role, carrying the “good news” of Christ as a sacred trust. It is our duty to take this truth far and wide. To this end we are intentional and aggressive in our strategies. Time is short and precious (Ephesians 5:16). The church is Christ’s tool for equipping and encouraging His followers (Hebrews 10:24-25). Individuals, within the community of the church, are further equipped with the truths and promises of God’s Word, while being encouraged to carry out personal adjustments and assignments from the Holy Spirit to magnify Christ to others.
